We understand how important companion animals can be to members of the homeless community - some serve as protectors, others as therapy/service dogs, and some just as friends/companions.
At Columbus VetCare, we provided wellness and emergency veterinary care to these loyal and loving friends free of charge to ensure they receive the medical care that they deserve. Our services include: Spaying and Neutering, Regular Physical Examinations, Vaccinations, Heartworm/Flea prevention, Parasite Prevention, Emergency/Urgent Medical Care, and much more!
In addition to medical care, we also help to provide these pets with food, water, toys, blankets, and leashes and collars.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Unfortunately, the majority of these pet owners do not have the luxury of picking up the phone to call us when they need us. That is where you come in!
If you see a member of the homeless community with a pet, please reach out!
Talk to them to find out if their pet has been seen by a veterinarian in the past year, or if their pet requires any medical attention. If they would like to utilize our services give them our information or call/text/email us with their location and we will do the rest!
